What is this challenge?
-A low level run of Strange Journey, meaning EXP can only be gained from forced encounters. This also means any demons need to be discovered by fusion or in-game passwords (no password generator).
Why this and not Redux?
-Maybe later
Going into this run, I had four bosses in mind who could've potentially definite run-killers. One was, obviously, Mem Aleph, but the other three were Jack, Tiamat, and Jimenez. After the first two turned out to be kind of easy, I was worried that Jimenez would be similarly disappointing. So, how hard is he?
How hard is he?
HOW FUCKING HARD IS HE!!?? BOY, LET ME TELL YOU HOW FUCKING HARD HE IS!!
1: The round absolutely ***has*** to start with either his basic physical attack, or a Chaos Tack directed at one of the demons who can withstand it. If he starts with Hellfire, it will kill Aramisaki, instant reset.
If he uses Tack on either Aramisaki or MC before max allowable buffs can be applied, it will deal over 1,000 damage to them. Instant reset. Chaos Tack is ludicrously powerful, dealing a whopping over 300, sometimes 400 points of damage to demons ***with*** Resist Gun AFTER max allowable buffs.
2: Even after buffs, we still have to cross our fingers and pray that his Chaos Tack either misses, or only hits once when it targets MC or Arami.
3: His weakness constantly changes during the battle between Gun, Frost, Elec, and Force. This makes coordinating Co-op attacks completely impossible even on a normal run, so we gotta get physical for this fight.
4: Once he hits mid-health, he will start using Shuffle, which has a chance of inflicting Bomb on each party member. If we don't cure it ASAP, he will attack, our Demons will explode, run over.
5: Chaos Tack. It is literally such a threat that it deserves its own number.
6: Once his health gets into the red, he will start using Dark Matter, a party wide almighty spell that does as fucking huge damage. If you have anywhere below 100% hp by the time he starts spamming with it, you're done.
Yeah, he's pretty fucking hard.
