Restrictions of the challenge run:
- This shall follow the New Chaos route in the game, and all battles participated in must be fought on the Expert difficulty setting.
- All bosses shall be fight in ascending order according to level, and any exp gain should be minimized where possible.
- Unless explicitly given to us in-game, the use of passwords are forbidden.
- For the sake of simplicity, the production and use of the "March to Death" sub-app is prohibited.
Her stats and move-set are nonthreatening, she has no second form, and we can prevent her Sinner's Song from charming the party with Brave Heart. If this were it, this would be the easiest victory of the whole run. But Requiem is a thing we have to contend with, and unlike in the og title, she uses it every six turns.
For those who don't know, Requiem is an Almighty instant kill spell that hits the entire party and can't be blocked with Tetraja. Pretty cancer, but there are ways to beat it.
The instant kill rate is dependent on alignment, with it having a base 50% success rate against Chaos members, 25% base success against Neutral members, and 0% success against Law members, hence the party roster. But since being Law aligned isn't an option for MC, he has to use the other method, being immune to both Light and Dark. That means equipping the Faerie armor and being weak to Elec, so MC's back to defending the whole round so he doesn't die. Not that bad here since the other members can do actual damage to her though.
Plus, after using Requiem, she becomes weak to all attacks besides Elec until her next turn, letting us rack up some nasty co-op damage. Makes you wonder what all the fuss is about ;).
