Tbh if some scrub came by and killed all my kids i'd be pretty mad too.
What is this challenge?
-A low level run of Strange Journey, meaning EXP can only be gained from forced encounters. This also means any demons need to be discovered by fusion or in-game passwords (no password generator).
Why this and not Redux?
-Maybe later
Ouroboros gets a new ability called Wave of Death in her second fight. It's a party wide phys attack that deals upwards of 400 damage on any party member that doesn't have physical resistances. Having an entire party that with the right resistances and max allowable buffs neuters it pretty hard, but her other moves still hit like a truck. Since I could't bring Kuda, I bummed around Delphinus for a bit, killing Tengus for their Tetraja Rocks to protect my party against Mahamas.
Attack strategy is still the same, but this time, instead of being all offence so we can outpace her health regen, we have to not defend at all, or she'll use Disaster Cycle. Every time. That is how she was programmed. The fuck Kaneko? She can still use it normally, and a really bad one can kill the run cold, so the most I could do is cross my fingers that I wouldn't get petrified.
Looking back I should have found a way to fuse a good Spriggan with the skills I needed instead of a Titan, since they have both physical and electrical resistances, but hey, I get what I pay for.
