A Leaf Katydid (subfamily Phaneropterinae) nymph -- maybe a Bush Katydid (Scudderia sp.) -- chews holes in Woolly Rosemallow (Hibiscus lasiocarpos) petal at Sheldon Lake State Park, in Houston, TX, USA. Another Katydid nymph hangs out inside the flower and cleans itself, while a smaller nymph wanders around on the outside of the flower.
