I’m sure you’ve heard that the simple act of writing down your goals can have a profound impact on how likely you are to be successful.
But you know what has an even more dramatic effect?
Coming up with a PLAN for how you’ll reach your goal.
Because, really, a goal is a destination. And to arrive at a specific destination -- especially one we’ve never been to before -- we need a map.
We know this, and we practice it -- queuing up Google Maps whenever we set off on a trip.
But how many of us start businesses without any real plan at all?
Pretty crazy when you think about it… especially since building a business is a journey that takes countless hours per week for YEARS.
And yet, for some reason, we think it’s a perfectly fine idea to just set off with no plan at all!
(btw, no judgment here at all -- I’ve made this mistake myself… multiple times 🤪)
I want to challenge you to do your future self a FAVOR and set aside an hour to sit down and write a business plan.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. It doesn’t have to be difficult.
