Magellan and Greyhound | Slieve League Cliffs Hike | Ireland, Ep. 16 @MagellanandGreyhound | Uploaded September 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
A hike up the Slieve League Cliffs (also known as Sliabh Liag) was an unbelievable experience. Located in County Donegal, Ireland, this spectacular coastline along the Wild Atlantic Way offered amazing views of Ireland's highest sea cliffs. If you only had time to experience one set of coastal cliffs, we highly suggest this over the somewhat nearby Cliffs of Moher.
This video is the sixteenth of a daily video series of our travels to Ireland and Northern Ireland in June of 2018. From walking the lush greenery in the rugged hills and glens, hiking the breathtaking cliffs and coastal mountains, exploring caves and crags and remote off-shore islands, to the castles and ruins and hallmarks of pre-neolithic civilizations, we can honestly say it was one of the best times we have ever had. And do you know what was the most beautiful about the Emerald Isle? The people. In the cities or the countryside, to the north and the south, in pubs, tea rooms or during a walk. Some of the most warm, kind, affable (and usually very funny) people you will ever meet are in Ireland, and they'll be sure to fill you in on where all the good craic is.
If interested in our trip, please keep checking out this playlist as the series is released.
