The Glendoan Valley was our Airbnb while we visited this area of Ireland. Located in County Donegal, it was a comfortable cottage located in a picturesque countryside that we enjoyed in spitting distance of the small village of Ardara, where we found some good craic at Nancy's Bar and the Corner House. Home to a bunch of sheep and our wonderful host Peter, it made for some great idyllic walks in the morning and evening and was also our stepping stone for exploring the northernmost parts of the Wild Atlantic Way. The sunsets were killer.
This video is the thirteenth of a daily video series of our travels to Ireland and Northern Ireland in June of 2018. From walking the lush greenery in the rugged hills and glens, hiking the breathtaking cliffs and coastal mountains, exploring caves and crags and remote off-shore islands, to the castles and ruins and hallmarks of pre-neolithic civilizations, we can honestly say it was one of the best times we have ever had. And do you know what was the most beautiful about the Emerald Isle? The people. In the cities or the countryside, to the north and the south, in pubs, tea rooms or during a walk. Some of the most warm, kind, affable (and usually very funny) people you will ever meet are in Ireland, and they'll be sure to fill you in on where all the good craic is.
