After feeding at the local dump, this adult Slaty-backed Gull flew in to bathe in open water, then preen and rest on the ice at Mohawk Lake in Brantford, Ontario. An unseen predator, either an eagle or Red-tailed Hawk flushed all the gulls. 21 November 2019.
