Adult Mew Gull in winter plumage was discovered on 24 November 2020 by Sarah Lamond at Mohawk Lake in Brantford, Ontario. The lake is close to a landfill site where gulls feed earlier in the day, then fly to this lake to bathe and rest. The Mew Gull is with Ring-billed and Herring Gulls. Also present were Glaucous and Iceland Gulls. Also here today were Great Black-backed and Lesser Black-backed Gulls. 25 November 2020.
