Friendly Review of the Lutsen Ski Resort in Minnesota (MN). (The Cheap Ski Googles I mention - amzn.to/2vw28bP)We start by traveling to Minneapolis to visit family, Minnehaha Falls, and the Mill City Museum. If you are in Minneapolis MN, you can learn about the history of Minneapolis in a fun way with a quirky video that I loved. You'll also learn about the history of the mills. We stopped in Duluth where we saw the bridge, a lighthouse, the museum and the Duluth Trading Company. The journey between Duluth and Lutsen is beautiful. We stopped at Betty's Pies in Two Harbors, Goose Berry Falls State Park, Split Rock Lighthouse, and Rock Taconite in Silver Bay. We went a little further North to Grand Marais. There we went to My Little Sisters Place to try the Goober Burger which has mayo and melted peanut butter on it. At Lutsen, we stayed at Eagle Ridge with a Ski-in-Ski-out package during their winter meltdown. We were looking for a place in the Midwest that would be open in April, and they have a guarantee since they have been for the past 20+ years. The resort was nice, but had some quirks. One I didn't mention in the video is that you have to constantly keep re-signing on to the wifi. Since it was colder than usual, I think every run was open and we nearly had the place to ourselves never waiting to get on a lift. The runs were plenty long, and our kids enjoyed them.
The Ski Googles I reviewed at the end: Feier Yusi Googles which can sometimes be found at amazing prices. Great for a few days, but a little off in the nose piece. Get something nicer if you ski a lot. amzn.to/2vw28bP
