Friendly Review / Ronin-S (bit.ly/2yDJIr8) - In this video, we go over the DJI Ronin-S Firmware Update version 1.4.0.30 which came out in August 2018. For the motors, there is now an alarm for when the motors are blocked. I was not able to get it to make a sound, but I also didn't want to break it. The motors will now shut off if it is blocked for 30 seconds or it loses its orientation. The occasional vibration when rotating the gimbal clockwise while going into underslung mode has been resolved. The issue where the roll changes when you use the push-pan is improved. An obscure issue that is caused by repeatedly hitting the M button has been fixed. Half-pressing the camera action button will provide a continuous autofocus. DJI has also improved the algorithm to avoid focus coupling issues. The SmoothTrack defaults have been updated for all three profiles.
