Friendly Review of the Easthills Instant Shade Easy Setup Beach Tent Deluxe XL - Easthills Outdoors (amzn.to/2FpTefz). This is the deluxe XL version which fits 4 adults. There are links for smaller versions below. The tent comes in a bag that is about the size and weight of a bag chair. This means that it is super portable to bring with you. Due to their design, setup is extremely quick. I think it took me about a minute the first time, and I didn't know what I was doing. You simply unfold it, pull the strings, unfold any legs that still need it, and stake it down. The alternative is to use the 3 built-in sandbags around the sides when at the beach. They are great since you can open up their velcro sides and dump the sand out very easily. All the options stakes, tie-down ropes, and sandbags keeps the tent in place on windy days. The tent provides shade. It's not opaque, but it is UPF 50+ blocking 97.5% of UV from the sun to keep you protected. There is enough room for 4 beach chairs in the tent. The front porch gives you more room to lay or play without getting on the ground. The porch also zips up to close off the unit. This is great for privacy if you need to change a baby diaper, change or swimsuit, or to hide away your belongings while you venture out. There are 3 windows that provide a full 360 view, but you can also close them as well. There are 4 mesh pockets around the sides to place your belongings. Taking it down is a fairly quick process. You pull down on two bars to make it collapse. Rolling it up helps, but the bag could be a little bigger to make it fit easier. How to get it to fit into the bad is to fold the poles to the middles, get the material even, and then roll it tightly. Use the strap the bring it together even more. Overall, I was very happy with this tent, and I'd recommend it. We'll be taking it with us to sporting events and to the beach.
