Friendly Review / Ronin-S (amzn.to/2P6P6WR) - In this video, we go over the DJI Ronin-S Firmware Update version 1.6.0.50 and Ronin-S App Update version 1.1.6 which came out in November 2018. There are some great new roll features. You can now enter Auto Roll 360 when channel 3 is roll and the Ronin-S is in flashlight mode by double tapping to the right or left. This will cause the Ronin to continually roll until the trigger is double tapped. The second feature which is enabled in the App is 3D Roll 360. This feature causes the Ronin-S to point along the axis or perpendicular to the axis. You then can roll the gimbal which causes the pan motor to move. This feature will now allow you to perform a roll shot at an angle. You currently cannot enable Auto Roll while in 3D Roll 360 mode. The last new feature is that you can now disable Selfie mode. This occurs when you triple tap the trigger. Some people accidentally perform this action. There are a lot of compatibility updates. There is an option to set the zoom speed for Sony cameras. Panasonic GH3 & GH4 cameras can now use the half-button press auto focus with the RSS-P cable. Panasonic GH5 & GH5S cameras have added camera parameters. Added full support of the Nikon Z7 and Canon 1DX Mark II for photo capture, video recording, autofocus and focus pull with select lenses. There are also a number of bug fixes. Fixed the Canon 5D Mark IV freezing issue when using the shutter control. Also fixed the Panasonic GH5 and GH5S issue that occurs when using an external monitor with the HDMI port causing the Ronin-S gimbal to stop working.
