Friendly Review of the Netgear Orbi (amzn.to/2oSID88) FW version 2.1.4.16 which came out in late June 2018 and the announcement of the Netgear Orbi Modem (amzn.to/2yCmBgG) CBK40. This firmware version fixes issues with the Apple Homekit connectivity, IOT issues, wireless crash and reboots due to router stress, issues with guest isolation from multicast and broadcast traffic, OpenVPN certificate from MD5 to SHA-256, and fixes the Ethernet backhaul boot-sequence issue. I have been running this version just fine without issue, but I do not use a wired backhaul nor do I use multiple satellites. I have heard of some people with that case having some issues.
