I originally created this song back in June 2018 under the name of "Coffee Bits." At the time I made this song, I tended to find unmixed bits of ground coffee once I had mixed the creamer and sugar into my cup of coffee. It was fairly common for me to find such a thing for a few months in 2018, though after that year, this never happened again. Plus, I now prefer either iced coffee or cold brew these days. For the first time in my SJS Classics series, I opted to change the name of this song to reflect my current choice in coffee, though I am not against anyone who prefers their coffee hot with either cream and sugar or just have it plain black.


Also in this 2025 edition of the song, I gave it a swing tempo after messing about with the groove setting in Furnace, and set the song's tuning a bit higher. The percussion is now handled with one channel, the bass sequence was changed a bit, and the channels were swapped around. More stereo panning is used here, and some mixing optimizations here and there.
