Instructions:
-On the Watercolor paper, scribble the watercolor pencils across the top, leaving room at the bottom for a hill.
-With your waterbrush, activate the pencil marks, being careful not to go too far down into your hill area.
-If it is to your liking, you can dry the panel + go to the next step. If you want more color saturation, you can dry the panel, add more color, then dry again.
-Place your panel in a stamping platform so that you can place the trees off the top. You want to leave about 1” or 1-½" at the bottom clear of stamping +coloring. The bottom section will be where your critter can go skating.
-Using Shady ink, stamp the trees on your scrap paper, move the scrap and stamp on to your card base. You should have a ghost image of the trees. (stamp off technique)
-Clean and reposition the stamp following the stamp off technique and stamp the trees a couple more times at different heights.
-Clean and reposition the trees over the ones you already stamped and ink them with Weeping Willow, leaving the bottom of the panel empty.
-Using a die or craft knife cut your slider area.
-Stamp, color and cut the critter you want skating on your card.
-Cut 2 more image shapes and glue them to the back of your colored image for support.
-Apply the slider mechanism to the die cut image and place in the cut slider opening.
-Place foam tape on the back of the panel, making sure not to have any foam in the way of the sliding mechanism.
-Apply to card base.
