@twiddlersnook is back with more birthday inspiration using the newest Simon Hurley create. (@inklipse) release! Layered stencils go a step further with Solar Paste on a detail layer and you can’t go wrong with fun critters for any recipient. 🐊🥳

-Solar Paste: Neptune

-Stencil: Gifted
-Silicone Paste Spreader
-Stamps And Dies: Snappy Birthday

Instructions:
-Ink blend each layer of the Gifted stencil set using your favorite Stellar Ink colors. Then replace the detail layer on the packages and spread Solar Paste over the top. I chose a coordinating color to the already inked layer so it enhanced the teal.
-Take a white card base and trim the front flap to 3.5” and set aside.
-Stamp your image from Snappy Birthday and color with your preferred coloring medium. Today I chose copic markers. Then use the coordinating die to cut it out. This die set comes with the sentiment “wish big” plus shadow dies for the words which I cut from black and white cardstock, using liquid glue to adhere the layers together.
-Once the background panel is dry, I trimmed it to 3.5 inches tall and splattered it with watered down high tide ink.
-Taking the strip that was cut from the card front, I added buzzkill ink to it dragging my ink pad across to quickly add color, then glued it to the card flap, so about ¼” showed.
-Next, I adhered the stenciled panel to the card front with liquid glue and popped the sentiment and --image up with foam squares.
-For finishing touches, add Glossy Accents to the crocodile’s eyes, bowtie and the star on his hat.
