“Snarky Valentine’s Hearts” 💕Do you remember those nostalgic pastel Valentine’s candy with messages like “Be Mine?” That was the idea behind this bold and bright collage page using @dyanreaveley products !! Watch as @marieausten_art shows you how in these easy step-by-step instructions!
Supplies:
Dylusions Products:
-Large Creative Journal
-Collage from Collage Sets 1 & 3
-Stencils & Masks (Heart shape)
-Paints: Mango Punch, Strawberry Daquiri,Tropical Sangria, Black Marble
-Dyalog Stencil: Border it Too
-Glue Stick
-Dyalog Stamps
-Backchat
Ranger Ink:
-Archival Ink Pad: Jet Black
-Blending Tool
Other: White Posca, Black Posca, & other paint pens/markers
Instructions:
-With the Heart shape stencil and one of the cocktail paints, start to work on background, leaving room for the additional two colours until you’ve covered most of the page.
-With the border stencil and black marble paint add the heart border.
-Play with your collage pieces until you find a paper doll you like and glue in place.
-Stamp small hearts in any blank spaces you want to fill.
-Outline paper doll with black posca. OPTIONAL: Change any colour with paint pens/markers.
-Outline border hearts with white posca.
-Add BackChat stickers/quote
-Stamp some more hearts and handwrite snarky sayings!
