Update: This took 50 minutes to render and 30 to upload. Remind me again why I still edit? Like seriously. I took a nap when it began to render and when I woke up it wasn't done yet XD
Gah look at this. I made a full video. Well technically since I did cut off a bit of the song in the ending because I was tired and running out of clip ideas but still XD When was the last time I made a video this long?
And as surprising as it may sound this took me roughly three days. And most of it was done on the last day. I guess I just have been really bored lately XD And I was so excited to finish this because it's for Torsy I just worked hours straight. It would have taken even shorter had Vegas not decided to be slow af. At least it didn't crash.
Not really sure when or how I got this idea, all I know is that I really liked it. I just have been adicted to this song to the point where it won't leave my mind and I guess somewhere along the way I realized how well this could work with TLK, especially Simba because you know, it's Simba and he works with anything. If you don't love him you're wrong.
This was supposed to be about Simba in general but now that I watched the final thing it feels like it could be a Simba/Mufasa thing instead? Most of it, anyway. I'm not even mad. Best father/son relationship ever.
And the result feels sorta meh to me. It didn't really turn out how I wanted it to. Well I liked the ending at least. I was just happy to edit with TLK again because seriously, it'll always be my favourite movie no matter what. Words cannot describe how much I adore every single detail about it.
Man I remember when all people edited with was TLK. Myself included. I don't think I would have gotten into editing if it wasn't for this movie. Editing this surely felt nostalgic XD
And there weren't many rendering errors but Vegas just messed up the voice overs? For some reason whenever there is one the song gets lower and it was't like that when I was editing .-. And there was an echo effect that just didn't render, as if I had never put it there. Still I think they turned out ok.
Well, enough rambling I guess XD Dedication time and whatnot c:
Hey, Torsy ^^ So, hum, I don't even know how to start this XD I guess I could start by telling you how much you mean to me (which is a lot more than you imagine) and how glad I am that you're my friend but I've said that so many times already that I suppose you're tired of hearing it ;;
You've just always been there for me, even when I felt bad or just didn't feel like myself; you were always there to cheer me up. Just talking to you or even thinking that I am lucky enough to have you in my life was enough to put a smile on my face ♥
And you've just been making me so much stuff these past few days (stuff that I love and that I don't even feel like I deserve and it makes me feel like dfghfdsdf) that I just felt like I had to do something for you.
Considering how much we both love TLK and how one of your personas is Simba choosing what to do was easy. Doing it, however... I put as much effort into this as I could but it still doesn't seem much compared to what you've done for me. But I doubt that anything I ever made could be considered good enough for someone as special as you ^^ So I just hope you're able to enjoy this, even if just a little.
I hope this little bad excuse for a video reminds you that you're really special to me and that I love you a lot ♥ Although no matter how many videos I make, I'll never be able to make anything that is worth of you.
