Here's the video some of you have been waiting for. It took me three months, but hey, it's here. Please read the description, there are some details in it.
About the video:
I wanted to use this song in a video since 2013, when I first heard it. And once I watched Frozen I knew Elsa was perfect to play the moon. So in this video Elsa is some kind of imortal godness. I didn't mask much, I was kinda lazy and my computer almost suicided while I was making it. I don't know why, but the rendering failed like six times and I almost gave up during it. But I finally got it right.
Storyline:
First of all, Rapunzel is the only "real" one in the video. In the begining, she reads a book that tells this history of "The son of the moon", and then she sings about it. Anna is a gypsy girl who wants to get married, and she begs the moon, Elsa, to make her wish come true. Elsa says she will make it, but Anna will have to give her the first kid she has. It was a test to see if Anna was going to love her son, and Elsa knew that if she accepted to give him up just to get married she wouldn't want him anyway.
Rapunzel painted Elsa in her wall (In case it's not clear), and she sings about how much Elsa wanted to be a mother but she couldn't once she was not human. "Tell me silver moon, what do you intend to do with a boy of flesh?"
A few time later, Anna met a gypsy man, Hans. They fell in love and Anna says they're going to have a son (I know Jack's not a baby, but Jack isn't exactly a human, he's the son of the moon). Hans is happy, until he sees the boy is white pale and he thinks Anna cheated on him (but she didn't), and he gets very angry and Jack and Anna wonder what he's gonna do.
Elsa then realizes something went wrong. The boy should be Anna's and Han's son, but it happened that her desire was so big that she was the real mother, after all he looks just like her.
Meanwhile, Jack feels a strong connection between him and the "moon", Elsa, his real mother. He can't explain but he feels it.
After a few days, Hans is back and he's so angry he kills Anna. Then he takes Jack to the mountain and hits him, leaving him to die alone there.
With her magic, Elsa could see all that happened, since Anna's death to Jack being alone, and she goes see him. She feels awful because she thinks it's all her fault.
She goes talk to Jack, and he's very sad and weak. She thinks well, and asks him if he doesn't wanna live with her in her castle in the moon. He realizes Elsa is the mother he always felt when he looked at the moon and he says yes.
Now Elsa can finally have the son she always wanted, and he'll be loved for sure once Anna wouldn't love him anyway.
So when the moon is full on the sky, it means Jack is happy. If he gets sad, Elsa waves the moon with her magic, so Jack can sleep better and rest.
And then Rapunzel finish the story, making a new painting on her wall.
I hope you guys like it, it was a hard video to make and I know it's not perfect but once I do love this song and any relation between Jack/Elsa, I can say I like it :)
