Heya to you all. Firstly, yeah: this is for Makana, because she has been kinda sad lately. But this video is very special for me, so the description will be kinda long. I'm not exacly proud of this video, I have to say I didn't like it very much :/
And I had to cut little pieces of the song, because there isn't too much footage of Nala as a cub. And there's been a while since I made something long, so I'm kinda nervous.
Plot:
Simba - The father
Kiara - Simba's little girl
Nala - Alyssa
Scar - Alyssa's father.
It follows the lyrics. Kiara is a girl and she meets another girl at school (?), Nala. Nala lies about her life, saying she is OK. And that disturbed Kiara. When Simba notices that Kiara is upset, he tells her to tell him what is happening. She says that Nala lies all the time, and that makes Kiara confused and sad. Simba plans to go to school talks to Alyssa, but he was told that now "She lies with Jesus". She lied that much because her father (Scar) abused her, and she needed to convince herself that her life was something more than being abused. Till the day she couldn't got it anymore.
Please read this:
I used only Nala happy on the "school" because she was lying the whole time to everyone. The last Nala scenes (3:43 to 3:47 and 4:00) should show how her life really was, the life that she would like to be the lie, but was the true. She hided this life, full of lies. Because she always saw her friends' parents and deep inside she asked herself why her father couldn't be like them.
I never edited with such a kinda of song, so you can see I even used sparkles, or many effects, because I didn't want to show the wrong emotion. I only used the colors.
And to Makana
Yeah girl, this is only for you :) When you ever got sad, watch this video, and tries to think how many girls in the world are so much worse then you. Your video with Alyssa Lies made me cry so much! This song reminds me of when I was a kid, and I used to go to my granny's farm and we all listed to songs till the night. Since we stopped my granny and one of my uncles died... But they were good times :')
I wish I could have make it before, but I had a problem with my contact lenses and couldn't even see very well yesterday :/ But I hope you like it, because I worked really hard on it, and I don't know how it turned out...
So be strong, because we are all with you :)
I wish this video makes you crie as much as yours made me!
