This is something that happened to me by accident while messing around with some things in Silent Hill Homecoming. Explanation below as always.
So, prior to this Feral attack I had done two glitchy things:
1.) Stolen a save point and made it portable.
2.) Cloned over 500 serums in the Hell Descent level and injected them all into Alex.
What happened when the Feral attacked is that the prompt to remove it was "X".
Which was the same prompt to save the game. "X".
Two prompts on screen with different outcomes. But the Save prompt was overriding the Feral prompt.
And Alex had over 500 serums' worth of health in him.
My options were:
1.) Wait for Alex to die (about 15 minutes with all the serum)
2.) Shut off the game.
