Conceived as a spatial refuge that transforms silence into atmosphere, Casa Yume emerges from the steep slopes of the Papagayo Peninsula as a quiet interplay between light, landscape, and structure. Oriented along a bold diagonal axis, a conceptual and physical cut through the plan, the house unfolds in a linear progression, anchored by a sweeping 12-meter ocean-facing span free of columns. Super-slim frames and open platforms dissolve boundaries, framing the horizon and inviting the elements in. Clad in local stone, smooth concrete, and warm woods, the architecture evokes serenity through texture and tactility. A modest entrance gives way to a choreographed sequence of revelations.
