Sidney Bechet plays "Strange Fruit", the song made famous by Billie Holiday. His performance is superb, but for some reason RCA Victor did not issue it at the time and it was only several years after the war that the recording was finally released, as a dub, on Swiss HMV JK 2717. This transfer is taken from a British HMV test pressing.
