The Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries are a beautiful and entrancing UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in Sichuan, central China. The site itself covers the last remaining habitats for China's most famous and iconic animal: the Giant Panda. Although we did visit some of the bamboo forest mountains that the site covers, pandas themselves are notoriously rare and unsurprisingly we didn't see any. So we headed for the best place to spot these beautiful creatures: the Panda Research Breeding Base in Chengdu, China. Let's check it out!
