Hamunite is MarkyDash's most recent level, and this time it is a collab with a simplistic modern creator, ZapZed36. In this fashion, many of the designs in this level are simple, and the colors follow this trend as well. Each part usually consists of three to four colors, often switching to the beat of the music. In this way, Marky and ZapZed both did a great job with keeping the pulses interesting despite using very few colors. One aspect I really like about this level is the smoothness of the movement of most of the blocks. The movement used fits quite well with the song and adds to the atmosphere of the level. The only exception to this is in the section with the planet, where the background feels a bit too dynamic, but otherwise the movement is excellent. Also, the level follows three distinct themes, those being cartoon, neon line, and "advanced". When a level has many different themes, oftentimes it can be difficult to connect them all into one coherent level. However, in Hamunite, each part links together quite well. This is especially notable in the transitions between each part, which use objects from both parts that are being linked to make a smoother transition. One drawback of the level is that the first part is a bit hard to sightread since you have to go up invisible slopes to progress through the level. Overall, this was a really chill and atmospheric level, and I hope to see more work from these creators in the future.
