Type is a modernistic level created by Praa. Most of the level uses simple designs or typical backgrounds similar to those found in other recent modernistic styled levels. Throughout the level, there is a solid amount of cleanliness in blocks and the colors in each part are well-chosen. Furthermore, the gameplay in every part of the level is relatively simple and is easy to play. When playing this level, the part with the paint splatters at 10% certainly caught my eye: it has many different dynamic colors flashing in the background - which definitely improves the parts quality - and has many moving objects and blocks throughout the part. The next part continues with excellent movement and effects, with the white effects on the side being a nice touch. However, outside of the paint splatter part, there is a distinct lack of color pulsing. Each of these parts have the same colors throughout, with sometimes only minimal pulsing in the background. Because of this, the level has a difficult time matching the energy of the song chosen. This is especially apparent at the drop where - despite all of the colors looking nice - the level stays in multiple shades of blue for the entire drop without pulses at all whatsoever. The lack of consistent quality in the level does unfortunately make the earlier parts of the level stick out compared to the later parts of the level. Overall, Type is a solid conventional modernistic level, but it could be improved massively if the later parts of the level would be given more dynamic pulsing and a more energetic feel.
