Should you be wearing hiking shoes rather than hiking boots? I see more and more hikers wearing different types of hiking gear be it trail running shoes, mountain running shoes & boots, hiking shoes and then there's mid-height and full-height hiking boots.

There isn't necessarily a right or wrong, everyone is different, but I really want to draw your attention to hiking shoes as I think they're great for technical hiking trails including scrambling!
