Today I'm building a two door Jeep Wrangler, by shortening an Axial SCX6 chassis with 70 mm. We will get into a couple of things here like improving the approach angle, dropping the suspension, making new links by using all stock parts and modifying various parts in order to create the most capable family member of them all, the short wheel base SCX6. Hit me up if you have any questions!
The all new Axial SCX6 is a 1/6th scale trail truck that packs a ton of features which you might know from its smaller brothers and sisters. This brand new developed vehicle has licensed items and some familiar looking design elements, such as the officially licensed Jeep Wrangler JLU bodyshell, the Black Rhino rims and the BF Goodrich tires. Add a two speed gearbox, a full light kit, a scale interior and roll cage and electronics tailored for this absolute giant, and this is sure to be a huge hit with the RC community. This truck is a true engineering piece of art!
