When at the Team KNK TTC4 back in June, I unboxed this Vaterra Ascender Ford Bronco with my buddy James Story Rice. I have never owned a Vaterra vehicle before, and seeing how many of them are being used at comps and for custom builds I definitely had owning one on my list.
The Vaterra is a great looking truck, the Ford Bronco body has a very accurate proportionate look to it. The frame rails are adjustable in length, which is something I am yet to become familiar with. I'm not sure how I feel about the battery tray being an articulating piece, but I guess we will find that out once you see how this truck actually performed in Class 2 at the Team KNK TTC.
For a ready to run this is a very complete offering, and I look forward to customizing the body and paintwork on this ride, upgrading some of the electronics down the line and see how well it performs on a day to day basis.
