Yes: yet another Viewmaster model! I guess I'm officially a collector now...
The Viewmaster Model B was the second Viewmaster design produced by Sawyer's, manufactured from 1944-1947. The Model A was manufactured from Kodak Tenite plastic, which had a tendency to warp; this was corrected in the Model B, which was moulded from more stable Bakelite. Though the Model A and B featured different styling, they incorporated nearly all the mechanical features that would characterize all subsequent Viewmaster models.
