This one felt like it took forever to get, but at least I actually got it. I was getting worried it was going to be another Tangela...

But fortunately, I did get it, and decided to go to my Join Avenue to hatch it instead of biking around like usual.

Just HOW DID I KNOW IT WAS GONNA BE SHINY???!?!??
I save before hatching my eggs. When I hatch the shiny, I SR (soft reset) so I can record the hatch. In fact, I had to attempt this video several times because I forgot what egg the shiny was in. :P

I sent a picture of the shiny to Junichi Masuda, director of the newer Pokemon games. He's been with the Pokemon GAME FREAK team since the beginning though, as the sound guy.
He has mentioned in the past on his blog about "international marriage," also known as the Masuda Method, to hatching shinies.
