What a long title, lol. Doing it a little different this time, I'm including both the hatching video and the evolution videos in one. I don't know if I'll keep doing it like this though.
My first shiny in Pokemon Shield and in 8th Gen came by pure chance, I hatched it on January 2nd, 2020! I needed some extra Deino to trade and put a Japanese Hydreigon & my own Ditto into the Nursery. Took five eggs, hatched them, and the last one was shiny. I was watching the egg hatch and thought about how funny it would be if it were shiny... and it was, lol! I saw the green instead of blue and couldn't believe it.
This is a really awesome shiny and not one that I have yet, plus it has a good nature and all the perfect stats in the right places.
Regular Deino is blue, while Shiny Deino is green.
Same with Zweilous, shiny is green instead of blue.
And regular Hydreigon is blue and red, while shiny is green and purple.
This Pokemon actually had an appearance in one of the Pokemon movies!!
When I'm filling my PokeDex, this is the Pokemon I dread most. It's a dragon, and it also has the latest evolution levels of any Pokemon.
Deino evolves into Zweilous at Level 50, and then Zweilous evolves into the triple-headed Hydreigon at Level 64. Fortunately it's much easier in Sword & Shield if you have a bunch of those Exp. Candies... though if you're going to Level 100, you may want to use Rare Candy on those last few levels since sometimes they take a *lot* of experience points.
BY THE WAY, Deino is a Pokemon Sword exclusive. Yeah, I'm using Pokemon Shield, but managed to get a Japanese Deino off of Surprise Trade. By-the-way by the way, foreign Pokemon now keep their foreign name when they evolve, something I appreciate GREATLY.
