Happy 2022! I took a nice break to recharge and work on a ton of projects for this year that I can announce soon! I'm going to be easing back into regular content for this channel with some already made tracks starting with my first original on the channel!

In 2019 I was super busy with Replay as well as other projects, but a game company approached me and asked if I'd compose for their VR game. I told them I was really busy, but then they told me it's a VR game where you shoot sharks on mars, so naturally I dropped everything to write this. I had a ton of fun just making brutal chuggy low tuned riffs with synths. I constrained myself to a very particular chord progression. If you feel like the song doesn't really move that much, it's by design. Analyze the chord progression and maybe it'll get a laugh out of you, hopefully.

This is also my first cover with REAL AMPS! :o

I was able to snag a Mesa Boogie JP-2C+ head and I ran it through an oversized Mesa cab for rhythms and a 1x12 Hughes and Kettner for leads. I tried using the Fredman mic technique, but struggled to get a sound I liked so I actually just did an off center position for the leads for it's mids with a 57 and a 57 dead on the center of the speaker on the mesa cab. Sounded okay, but I can't wait to get even more practice this year.

Please be gentle, it's my first original song on the channel! I'm really going out of my comfort zone to cast this out into the... uh... sharks...
