My rant about how tedious Charlaine Harris' 2005 whodunnit Shakespeare's Landlord is. Lily Bard moves to small town Arkansas to escape a terrible event in her past. When a neighbour is murdered she does nothing useful to help but apparently solves the mystery even though the police already had. This is a book for lovers of cleaning and very long descriptions of buildings that the protagonist barely goes in.
As well as the Lily Bard series Harris has written the more famous Sookie Stackhouse novels which were filmed as True Blood.
