"School is where you wanna be!" Yeah, about that, boys. From 1982, 14 Karat Soul tells us how cool "School" is. I'd planned on sharing this sweet doo-wop treat under much better circumstances, but it's still wonderful to see and hear again. The sentiment might not be quite the same these days, but the old school spirit is still strong and pretty darn catchy. The group also performed "The ABCs of Love", "Down Below the Street", and "Hand Talk", on the show and appeared in "Elmo Saves Christmas" as carolers ("It's Christmas Again"), all linked below. Corrections are welcome on the lyrics, especially the line "You'll find paints and box (?) of clay" around 1:31. Could it be "blocks"?
