From 1969, Ernie (Jim Henson) conducts an "alphabet test" (with a snazzy Sesame Street Learning Kit poster). After a couple of snags, Bert (Frank Oz) challenges him to say it backwards. This is the full three-part sketch which includes the cartoons for D (Gary Owens voice, "If you dig a dinosaur, drop your duck for a dime.") and M for Mail. Finally in English, yeah! Big hugs to a longtime Friend of the Archive (I'm thinking it's best to keep other people's names on the down-low right now).
