Are you ready for the epic music? Something I failed to mention is, that the music in Serious Sam 4 is better than ever and the final level treats us with a great remix of the Corridor of Death music from The Second Encounter.
Game is throwing (almost) everything at you at trademark Serious Sam quantities. I'm certain the encounter in the beginning with all the Zealots is actually impossible without the Devastator. I grinded it for almost half an hour only to give up and come back (I cut most of it out). Rest of the level offers a fun and satisfying challenge.
Now we're reinacting the intro and the legion system is back in full force. This time we actually get to see what happens after mutated General Brand knocks Sam out: It leads to final boss fight with Ugh Zan VI. This fight is downright dreadful. The game doesn't tell you that you need to press interact (default "E") instead of the dedicated grabbling hook key (like why!?). Climbing Ugh Zan is very tedious and unsatisfying dreg. Fight tops off with another Mech section. This isn't so bad as long as you can avoid Ugh Zan eye laser. Keep shooting and you win.
