The still very affordable Selmer Treble and Bass 50 played through a 4x10 cab does an amazing 1950s Tweed Bassman tone. In this video I play a 1966 Selmer Treble and Bass 50 MkII (Blue Line) through a DeVille 4x10 cab with 1960s Oxford 10L6 speakers and I loved the tone and playability!! I'm using a 2008 Gibson Les Paul R9 with 1970s DiMarzio PAFs in it.

Recording setup:
Close mic: Shure SM7dB (preamp bypassed) through Neve 1073 DPX
Close Mic 2: 1960s Beyer M160 (uysed on riffs with phaser/chorus)
Room mic: 1960s Sennheiser MD21 through UA 2-610
