I'm playing a wonderful 5W 1x8" all tube Marshall Origin 5 combo using a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom with a 1973 DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. This amp really sounds like the old classic small rocknroll combo and the Celestion Eight 15 does a great job. It reacts beautifully to playing dynamics and takes a warm clean tone into Ted Nugent territory with heavier picking. The voicing of the amp/speaker is surprisingly close to Ace Frehleys mid 70s solo tone as well.
