Self Full Body Measurement Collar To Ankle
In today video we will go through all the body measurement for all clothing. And special tips and trick for all.
For pant, palazzo, pajama, and chudidar pajama, afghani salwar and cigarette pants.
Always take measurement from the side and ask the customer to point from where he or she wears pant at the waist. And take complete measurement up to the ankle. Then waist round is taken as exact with the fit and has to be taken at the point from where we took measurement for the pant length. Hip round measurement is taken at butts without loosing. The thigh measurement is taken at 2 inches below the crotch with 4 fingers in measuring tape.
Knee-length from waist round point. Knee round has to be taken at knee round and with 4 fingers at knee point with additional seam allowance. Ankle round is taken as customer requirement. But in case of churidar pyjama take a round from heel of the customer's foot. If you miss this point the chudidar salwar won't event get till ankle.
Kurti and top measurement.
From shoulder to length of customer desire for length. For plate length, we have to take at the full bust. Keep the measurement tape free to get the highest point at the bust as plate length. Low bust Is 2.5 to 3 inch below the full bust. We take the point as waist round for top or Kurti. Upper chest round is taken with 2 fingers in tape and similar with full bust round.
Front measurement is very important because if you miss it you might get wrinkles in the final product at armpits. Hip length is point from where you will keep split in Kurti. We have to take the round measurement at the split in Kurti for great fitting.
For shoulder measurement at the back. At the point from where the arm begins. To take arm round measurement we take 2 fingers in tape for measurement. Arm length measurement Is taken with arms bent on the waist. If you miss it you will always be short of length by 3 inches.
Neck measurement. For shirt collar put one finger in the tape at the neck. For flat collar take the round measurement at the bottom of the neck with 1 finger. For the deep neck, measurement takes diagonal tape for correct measurement.
NOTE: This should not be used for self-body measurement. You will always lose or add some inches. We are coming with a video for self-body measurement.
