Juzou the Drunkard used to be an unrivaled sumo wrestler that once served "a great feudal lord". He was later dismissed after giving in to drink and fell to a life of brigandry. As such, he was dubbed Juzuo the Drunkard.

He is referred to as "Lord Juzou" by the bandits outside the shrine to Buddha where the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey can be found, implying he is the leader of the bandits attacking Hirata.
