Hitting the Sector 7 Slums, Cloud can now familiarize himself with Midgar. Within, lies AVALANCHE headquarters underneath a bar named Seventh Heaven. Tifa Lockhart (a childhood friend of Cloud's), will be his guide throughout the slums of Midgar. Tifa is the proprietor of Seventh Heaven and alongside Cloud, she's possibly the most easily recognizable character in Final Fantasy’s 33 year history.

From this point, Cloud can learn about upgrading his weapons, buying/selling from the marketplace and taking on mercenary jobs.
