All, I purchased an Ampex AG-440 and 150 10” reel recordings from an estate of an older gentleman who made all sorts of live recordings. Some are verified to be live from the Wisconsin area between 1967-1972. I’m not quite where to start because there are so many and I’m just starting with artist that I know.
I am looking to identify this Johnny Cash recording. It's very possible this was a copy from another source. I will be asking for help with other artists and recordings which I know are unique and unicorns from the period.
Shazam does not find it. It was digitized lossless tonight and is of excellent fidelity.
Again, this may very well have been a dub from another source back in the day.
