this was supposed to be up last sunday! and the computer i'm on just deleted the whole description i wrote! things are clearly going great here at the vlogging nook! *jazz hands*
so dodie put out a new EP called You! my favourite song off of it is actually a song called "6/10", which is kind of my favourite song of all time of hers, but somehow i ended up making ten thousand layers of me humming along to this song instead. honestly, i need to get this video up just so i don't listen to this again and think "hmm maybe i should add another harmony layer that is the exact same as the fourth harmony except for one note change every third note."
this song has such an important message though, and it means a lot. i cried when i first heard the original on her channel.
me, two weeks ago: honestly, i'm never going to have the time and energy to clean my room, ha, i could probably only motivate myself if i filmed it
me, after making this cover and thinking of a visual: wait a second...
(the moral of that story is, trick yourself into performing self care by disguising it as one of the creative endeavors you're addicted to! get practical things done for an impractical video!)
