This is "SDI - Strategic Defense Initiative" for the Amstrad CPC released back in 1988 by Activision.
It's a very poor conversion for the coin-op game by Sega and in addition is another Spectrum port for the CPC.
You control a satellite and your task is to destroy with your laser various space threats such as enemy satellites and missiles with nuclear warheads.
The major sacrifices were done on graphics and sound.
The coin-op's backgrounds are nowhere to be seen and the sprites are monochromatic.
The sound is reduced only in the explosion sound effect.
The controls are good and the game is quite playable despite some slow-downs.
