This is "Jupiter's Masterdrive" for the Commodore Amiga released back in 1990 by Ubi Soft and developed by P.O.F. Corporation programming team Olivier Marty(code), Patrick Daher(graphics) and David Whittaker(music).
It is a very well made and playable top down racing game.
Lovely graphics, fast and smooth scrolling, excellent controls and great music sound effects are what this game offers.
There are nine circuits based on nine of Jupiter's moons and each circuit has a bonus stage.
You need to race in these circuits for three seasons before you can become the Masterdrive Champion.
This is in my opinion the only downside of the game as after the first season you have to repeat exactly the same circuits (no different graphics or tracks) for two more.
The lack of save option makes it extremely difficult to be finished.
I praise the savestates of Winuae once more!!!
There is also the shop in which you can buy upgrades for your car and challenge your luck in POF slot machine.
The animated green alien in the shop is a nice addition and great fun to tease!
