But people are missing the bigger story. What’s truly fascinating is the technology itself.
This therapy uses CRISPR gene editing packaged inside a lipid nanoparticle engineered with a molecular targeting signal that direct it specifically to the liver.
Not the brain.
Not the heart.
Not muscle.
Not fat tissue.
Just the liver.
That level of precision opens the door to something much larger than cholesterol lowering.
