My goal in this video is to help inspire you to do what you can to save money by building a raised bed planter. If you have a large plot of land, you may still want a raised bed garden for peppers or tomatoes close to your house. If you live in the city a raised bed planter may be a great option for you. The goal is to save you money and not go out and buy the next best tool. If you have an old-school hand saw, by all means, use that instead of going out and buying a saw.
I was fortunate to grow up at a time when my life overlapped with my grandparents' lives. They told me about the tough times they had growing up during the great depression. Though I could not appreciate it at the time it resonates well with me now. Our economy is echoing similar circumstances to what happened 100 years ago. So the time is more critical than ever to begin doing what is necessary to survive.
In this video, I am using power tools. Some may say that is fancy. Others may say it is primitive. It's all relative and again that is not the point of this video. I am stressing the importance of doing things for yourself and your family to help you save money.
