In this video I show you the Rode PSA1 setup, which is the same as the Rode PSA1+ boom arm. Installation of the boom arm in the middle of desk using the desk insert was quite easy. You just need a drill and a 15/16" drill bit to make a hole, install the provided desk insert and place the Rode PSA1 boom arm into the desk insert, attach the XLR or USB cable to the boom arm using the provided velcro straps and enjoy your new setup. The best setup with the microphone is to install a shockmount. The shockmount will help to isolate any thud sounds resulting from bumps or strikes on the desk.

This setup was with the AT2032 microphone with an XLR cable and a shock mount.

We purchased other 'cheaper' boom arms only to be dissatisfied with the performance and quality. We just wasted money. Don't waste your money. Save up for the Rode PSA1 boom arm.
